The Sunlight Foundation, Global Integrity and Transparency International are proposing a session at OKFest to hear about the potential challenges in different political finance disclosure regimes, and come up with potential solutions/next steps for this important, controversial and highly under-regulated area. Our interactive session will introduce transparency projects and technology tools that help uncover the influence of money on politics. Beisdes, we will explore the political-economy drivers of (more) effective political finance systems, and identify data that a government needs to publish.
