Bankslave is a Nairobi-based street artist, part of the Spray Uzi team. One of the pioneers of street art in Nairobi, Kenya, and East Africa, Bankslave won accolades with the British Council street art contests most recently. He has been painting for 13 years now, and his work is visible all across Nairobi. Bankslave was part of the original team that politicized street graffiti and brought it into the mainstream in Kenya.
